Scented Play Dough

In preparation for my flowers and gardening theme, today I made scented play dough for Connor. This will allow him to have a sensory experience while manipulating the play dough. Basically, after making the play dough I added essential oils to the mixture. The essential oils I used were:

  • lavender
  • jasmine
  • honeysuckle
  • english rose
  • lilac

The colours of the play dough do not match the colours of the flowers represented by the essential oils. This may be something I do when Connor is older. The recipe for the play dough is included in my craft recipes file. I can't wait for Connor to play with this play dough.
